Frequently asked questions
What is the RAW Pricing account?
Designed for traders seeking an edge, the RAW Pricing account features our tightest spreads, including EUR/USD and other majors as low as 0.0 pips. It’s available for both the FOREX.com and MetaTrader 5 platforms.
When do we charge commissions?
If you trade forex with a RAW Pricing account, a commission of $7.00 will be charged for every $100k USD traded. Commission is not charged for Spread-Only accounts.
A completed trade, or roundtrip, consists of two separate trades. This means that commission is charged for each leg of the trade. Buying and selling 100,000 USD/JPY, for example, would incur a commission of $14: first when you open a trade with a buy ($7), and then when you close the trade with a sell ($7).
It’s important to remember that commissions are calculated based on the USD notional value of your trade. For instance, if you buy 100,000 EUR/USD when the pair is trading at 1.1000, you are essentially buying $110,000 USD worth of euros (100,000 x 1.1000). This means a commission of $7.70 would be charged for each leg of the trade, or $15.40 overall (110,000 x $7 ÷ 100,000 x 2).
