Performance Analytics FAQs
How often should I use PlayMaker?
At the start of every trading day, you should log into PlayMaker to see your risk parameters. They are calculated daily based on your balance at midnight on your account. It is important to adjust your size if your account gets smaller, to protect your trading capital.
While live trading, you should keep your Discipline Monitor open, so that you can be alerted if your trading plan might be at risk of a breach.
At the end of every day you should Review your Daily Discipline, as well as your Scorecard to see how well you did / focus on areas for improvement.
Does PlayMaker have a weekly or monthly review?
Yes. Within the Review app, there is a Daily / Weekly / Monthly / Yearly review of Discipline.
The Daily Discipline should be used to stay in touch with your performance. The longer term views help you understand your trends, and if there are strengths and weaknesses that it’s important you pay more attention to.
Similarly, on GamePlan there is a calendar feature to review shorter or longer timeframes. Use the longer term timeframes Weekly and Monthly to help you understand your overall trends.
