One touch

A one-touch option is a is a type of binary option with a strike price above or below the current market price and an expiration date, where the price of the underlying asset only needs to hit the strike price once before the option expires.

How does a one-touch binary option work?

In the case of a one-touch binary option, you would choose a strike price above or below the current market price, together with an expiration date or time (this could be as short as five minutes). For the option to deliver a profit, the price of the underlying asset only needs to hit the strike price once within the expiration period in order for the option to deliver a payout.
