Client Services/Sales - Multiple Positions Available
This entry-level position is ideal for anyone seeking to gain hands-on experience in the financial services, online trading and/or brokerage industries - and offers unlimited advancement potential.
In response to our rapid growth over the past years, we seek motivated, organized, team-oriented individuals to provide assistance in account opening and operational support to the firm's rapidly growing customer base of professional and individual forex traders.
Responsibilities Include:
- Being part of a team dedicated to handling all aspects of the customer experience.
- Facilitate outbound opening of new accounts for potential clients who already indicated interest in our platform and provide support for existing customers.
- Handle incoming sales inquiries and client issues via phone, email and live, interactive chat.
- Not a cold calling sales position
This position will involve exposure to all aspects of GAIN's business via daily interaction with trading, operations, and accounting.
Required Qualifications:
- College graduate (Recent grads eligible) or Customer Service and/or sales experience, especially within a brokerage or financial services environment.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is a must
- We will provide on the job training, but ideal candidates will be aggressive, flexible self-starters with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and a "service" mindset in order to support GAIN's customers in the demanding, real-time environment of active trading.
- Fluency in Russian, Arabic, Chinese or Japanese a plus!
Compensation/Benefits:

Staff Accountant
GAIN Capital is currently looking for a Staff Accountant.
The position will be based in Bedminster, NJ
Responsibilities:
- General Ledger account reconciliations, journal entries, research of transactions, and month-end close responsibilities.
- This position will reconcile several high volume bank accounts and also work on special projects as needed. Will download bank reports and reconcile in Excel, and prepare and post journal entries. Must have ability to research and resolve issues independently once training has been provided.
- This position is back up for fixed asset processing and reporting.
- Assists in providing quarterly and annual audit support.
- Position serves as backup to other accounting functions and cross-training would be provided.
- Duties may change as the company continues to rapidly grow.
- Account reconciliations must be prepared on a timely basis.
Required Qualifications:
- BS in Accounting or Business Administration, with emphasis in accounting
- Prefer 3 years of experience. CPA licensure or studies a plus.
- Financial close process experience. General Ledger and Journal Entry experience preferred
- Strong MS Excel skills.
- Accuracy in processing data is required

Production Support Analyst
We are looking for a talented, Production Support Analyst to join our team.
The position will be based in Bedminster, NJ
Responsibilities:
- Daily support of Gain Capital's high-transaction, low-latency FX trading system(s)
- Own and manage the incident response process. Must be able to escalate problems to appropriate engineering teams, while adhering to SLA's.
- Must own all issues raised through to closure regardless of which team or vendor ultimately resolves the problem
- Monitor, Measure, Analyze and report parameters constituting the technology of GAIN's production trading environment. Monitoring our trading system, along with applications as well as the underlying infrastructure (i.e. OS, Server and Network).
- Act as a liaison between users/traders, external customer support, and other technology groups (Product Development, Development and Engineering)
- Develop and maintain technical support documentation
- Respond to and resolve alerts and other notifications from our trading systems.
- Escalate urgent problems requiring more in-depth knowledge to appropriate internal or external resources.
- Manage application failures and resolve known issues.
- Work with Liquidity Providers (LP) to ensure day-to-day operations of LP connectivity for pricing and order flow.
- Perform daily run book activities and provide daily shift turnover reports on.
- Collect and report system outage data for trend analysis.
- Work with our development and QA staff in testing, configuring, staging and deploying new systems to production.
- Willing to work on a rotating shift, to ensure coverage of our 24 x 6 trading operation
- Perform post release testing after application upgrades and/or releases
Required Qualifications:
- In-depth trouble shooting knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, TCP/IP and Desktop configurations.
- Capable of writing SQL and performing adhoc queries.
- Previous experience working with proprietary trading systems and the FIX protocol.
- Must be able to demonstrate technical problem solving skills
- Must be well versed in a scripting language on either Microsoft or UNIX platform
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent documentation and knowledge management skills

Director of Research - Japan
This position will be based in our Tokyo office.
Required Qualifications:
We are seeking an experienced Japanese language currency strategist/economist to provide G-20 FX analysis and strategies to a global retail client base in real-time and through published research pieces. Experience with precious metals and commodities a plus, as is a trading background.
